Random favorite: My favorite YouTube video this week is the Lee Harris’ Energy Update for September. I find his monthly energy updates enlightening and uplifting.

Your name is Karen, so how do you deal with all this “Karen” stuff on social media? Are you a “Karen”?
Hahaha! That’s a great question! It used to make me irritable. Then came 2020 and the definition seemed to change from a pretentious person to what it is now and I realized that if I was going to see my name in that context, I’d need to reframe the context for myself. My goal is to keep my vibes high, after all. So, here is what I’m going with:
Apparently society is no longer concerned with black magic and Satan’s helpers. So, rather than call a woman healer who is wise, powerful, and capable of thinking for herself a “witch”, we label her privileged, entitled, and racist, and call her “Karen”.
I am Karen.
I am proud to stand with my sisters - the witches of old and the Karens of now - and do my healing work in the world. You may never see my power, but you will be impacted by it.
You know how it’s a bad thing to piss off the evil witch in the movies? It’s an even worse idea to cross the pure one.
By the way, the meaning of the name Karen is “pure”.
Rather than be a victim of culture, I get to be a bada$$. That works for me!
P.S., If you’re wondering what power I possess, the power within me is the same power within you and all of Creation. When I sing my Song of Power, the power within you resonates as well. You have three options:
Pretend you don’t feel it.
Try to suppress it.
Sing your Song of Power with me.
