Monday, July 29, 2024 is a day for accomplishment. It’s time to recognize your accomplishments and surrender to what’s been put in motion. Work to create peace. Your emotions may have you looking for comfort. Find comfort in creativity - something that makes you feel very deeply connected to yourself. Give yourself a quick Mandatory Rest Time from 13:59 -14:28 PDT - you may find you’re a little more communicative afterward.
Exercise: Do you know what kind of creativity makes you feel connected and safe? Do that today. If you don’t know what makes you feel like yourself, try something you loved as a kid.

Tuesday, July 30, 2024 is about things coming to fruition. You may feel a bit empty. Surrender and allow what has been set in motion to take its course. Communicate with curiosity rather than aggression. Rest as needed.
Exercise: Choose curiosity. Does something irritate you, make you mad, or just upset you? When you experience those feelings today, honor them by acknowledging them. Then, get curious. Say “I wonder...I wonder why that is happening…”; “I wonder...I wonder why that upsets me so much…”. Then let it go knowing that an answer will come to you. This shift from negativity to curiosity opens your mind and your heart to see things in a different light which can then open you up to compassion.

Wednesday, July 31, 2024 is a time for renewal. That empty feeling may still be hanging on. Recognize it as an invitation to rest. You may be feeling a bit restless - a short trip or partaking of information (or communication of information) that engages your curiosity could help you feel more settled. Give yourself a Mandatory Rest Time from 19:46 - 20:19 PDT and then you may want to spend the rest of the evening in a place of peace, quiet, and belonging.
Exercise: Sometimes the things we read and listen to make us feel something other than relaxed. Try listening to or reading something that helps you feel safe and secure while also indulging your curiosity. If you have a go-to that serves that purpose, share it with us!

I create mantras based on your birth date, birth place, and birth time specifically for you based on 14 areas of your life. Each area usually gets 1-2 mantras. I have my mantras up on my fridge to remind me of them (but I usually just remember to turn to them when my patience is being tested or I’m about to go out into the world and be with people). Thursday, August 1, 2024 is about mastery of the self. You may be craving peace and quiet. You may be feeling especially lonely or empty. You have the opportunity to fill those needs with gratitude and faith. Look after your personal needs and those of your household.
Exercise: Let undesirable feelings be a trigger for gratitude today. If something feels overwhelming, do a Three Breath Meditation and express gratitude within your heart for the reminder to reconnect with yourself.

Friday, August 2, 2024 is a day for fulfillment. You may feel fulfilled by staying in your home and being with your loved ones. Fulfillment may come from resting or experiencing beauty and friendship. You may also feel empty - to distract yourself you may feel tempted to turn to fulfillment through those pleasures that you usually employ self-discipline to avoid.
Exercise: Do your best to set yourself up to win by not having the unhealthy self-soothers available today and make a plan to be ok with discomfort.

Saturday, August 1, 2024 is a day for renewal. The emptiness of the last few days may still be around. You may feel drained while also feeling the need to attend to your responsibilities and to be acknowledged for the work you do.
Exercise: Look at yourself in the mirror. Smile. (It’s ok to feel weird about this.) Look yourself in the eye and tell yourself whatever you would tell your best friend if he or she were feeling exactly how you’re feeling. Then listen to yourself.

Sunday, August 4, 2024 is a day to retreat and listen to your inner voice. Turn the screens off and find some time alone. Rest, relax, and be with the people who love you the most. Engage in some child-like creativity and acknowledge others for how amazing they are.
Exercise: Your inner voice can show up as sensations in your body. Have you ever listened to your body when you needed to make a decision? It can give you a distinct feeling of your own “yes” and “no” even when your mind is cluttered by what you “should” do. My “no” feels like a tight stomach and throat. My “yes” feels like a relaxed face with specific sensations of warmth. Determine how your “yes” and “no” feel by closing your eyes and asking yourself questions. Ask something easy, like, “Is my name Bob?” and see how it feels. Then ask yourself your true name (or a different name if your name actually is Bob) and see how that feels. Then use the day to practice checking in with yourself for every decision you need to make and then follow your own guidance.

It’s Friday and I came here to take a look at the day because I am feeling particularly empty and sad, which honestly makes me want to push away from any fulfillment today, though I did look at dogs and find one I would like to adopt, but will not because I know I wouldn’t be able to give it the time and care it would deserve at this busy point in my life. It’s good to see I’m on track with the day, which reminds me that this will pass. I’m giving myself a little time to mope and then I’m going to try to get back to work as I have a lot to do these next couple weeks and can’t afford to be in an unproductive state.
