Energy of the Day
Thursday, September 10, 2020 is about letting go. Today is a great day for learning and thinking so take that online CEU course you’ve been considering. Sometimes our thoughts don’t serve us. Today is the perfect day to release the power those thoughts have over us. Be curious, try something new, and live life to the fullest today. Tap into the optimism that is abundant. Watch out for laziness.

Clear Out or Forgiveness
You’ve got two options today. They are both challenging, but one is about addressing things on a physical level and one is about addressing things on an emotional/energetic/spiritual level. Don’t do any part that requires the support of a professional.
Clear Out Exercise
Today is about letting go. Choose a small area in your home to clear out. Make some open space so the energy can flow better. If you love the items in that area then find a new home for them. If you don’t, then put your recycle bin and your donations box to good use! Enjoy letting go of the things that no longer serve you.
Forgiveness Meditation
When I say forgiveness, do you get a little knot in your stomach? (If you become panicked - this exercise is not for you right now.) Does someone or some situation come to mind? Today is about letting go - so let go of the weight and power that person or situation has over you. This time you’re not going to be forgiving the other person, though. You’re going to be forgiving yourself. Here’s how:
Think of that person or situation that hurt you. See yourself in that scenario. Were you a child or was it yesterday? Tell your younger self that you’re sorry - you’re sorry that you had to experience that. Tell your younger self you’re sorry that you didn’t know how to avoid that situation but that you’ve learned from it. Tell your younger self all of the things that you learned and how strong you are now as a result of that experience. Ask your younger self for forgiveness. Then forgive your younger self for having that experience. Picture making up with your younger self and giving your younger self a hug. When you feel satisfied, like you’ve forgiven yourself for that experience, (regardless of if it was just an argument with your partner yesterday or a deep wound from a childhood betrayal) see the whole situation. See the room your younger self is in fill with love and light. See the love and light surround the you.
Your job is not to forgive that other person or that situation, just yourself. Any time you think of that situation today, see it filled with love and light and send your younger self and your present self love and light as well.
