3 Favs
Favorite Pet Picture: In honor of Thanksgiving, meet Tina Turkey. She’s goofy, intelligent, and social. She’s looking for a home with another doggie friend. Currently, she’s being cared for by Jessamine Animal Care & Control. If you know her fur-ever family, pass this along and introduce them!
Favorite Book Quote: This week, rather than a book quote, I have a bit of Thanksgiving history for you. Source: www.nps.gov if you want to learn more.
Random Favorite: Generosity
We have been experiencing a bit more of a generous spirit within our household today and it’s been so much fun. We just dropped off some treats at our local fire station and we paid the tab for the people behind us when we got coffee. We’ve also got some special things planned for Christmas! I know those things aren’t a big deal, but if you need a boost, try it! It feels good. Such a great way to celebrate Thanksgiving!
What were some of your favorite things this week?
& a Q
Question: What do I do if I’m anxious and don’t know why?
*This is not medical, legal, financial, or any other type of advice. If you require that - please see the appropriate professional.
There are so many reasons you might be anxious without cause. Here are a few:
You might be picking up on someone else’s emotions.
You might be picking up on universal energy.
You might be out-of-synch with yourself.
I’ve written a lot about how to clear yourself if you’re picking up on energy that is not yours, how to be conscious of the universal energy and make conscious choices, and how to listen to your own heart.
There are so many ways to learn from the anxiety and address it.
But, as I was driving and feeling a bit of anxiety myself, a song came on the radio. It was a song by Sanctus Real called Confidence. In it, there is a line that says “broken people are exactly who YOU use”. In that moment, I was forced to ask myself: “What if it’s OK for me to feel like this?” Often, I want to “fix it”. What if the anxiety is the type of brokenness that God can use? What if, rather than fight it, I accept it and move forward?
As soon as I accepted the anxiety, and I saw myself as someone God can use (even in my broken-ness), it lifted.
So, my question to you is, what would happen if you just gave yourself permission to be OK with the anxiety for a bit and perhaps even saw yourself as someone God could use?

I’ve finally got my website up! Each week, I’ll feature a product or service. This week, I’m featuring Stone Sessions!
Do you have problems with:
excessive scrolling on social media?
mindless eating?
always needing to be perfect - do more - accumulate degrees or other “success”?
being uncomfortable being alone?
needing to always be on the move?
having too much stuff?
having poor boundaries?
Stones, like plants (like the ones used in herbal formulas), have an amazing ability to support the body, mind, and spirit. Stones and plants just work on a different level. Herbs are great for healing physical issues. For example, mint tea can make a sore throat feel so much better! Stones work on the energetic level, so they’re great for the issues listed above, and so much more!
A stone session will allow you to talk through the issue you’d like to address and then you’ll get personalized gemstone recommendations, descriptions of how to use the stones, and meditations to go along with the stones.
Be a part of it all!
